Robot Integration

Integrating Pick[+] with a robot requires installing and configuring the appropriate software components. These components allow the communication between the robot controller and the Pick[+] system needed to execute the callibration, scanning and execution processes.

Pick[+] provides program nodes and utilities that simplify robot programming. Instead of manually coding the whole movement sequences, Pick[+] offers pre-built functions for different robot brands. The following program nodes can be used:

  • Camera trigger
  • LED control
  • Cycle timer
  • Picking program template

Additionally, it explains in detail the information provided by the Pick[+] server to the robot, available from the program in the form of global variables.

Pick[+] currently supports integration with multiple robot systems, each requiring specific installation procedures. For brand-specific details, refer to the appropriate installation guide.
